REGARDING REWIND KNOBS: At this time we are temporarily out of stock of the custom rewind knobs. These are custom made by a machinist and we hope to have more made in the very near future. In the meantime, we are happy to add you to our wait list to be notified when they will be available. Please email help@precisioncameraworks.com to be added to our list.

One of our specialties is Bob’s extensive knowledge of Widelux cameras. We were an Authorized Service Center for many years before the company in Japan closed in 2005. We still maintain a consistent stock of parts and all repairs are done in the best of faith. All Widelux cameras receive an overhaul to address issues such as banding, shutter speed issues, skipped frames, and general servicing as needed. Due to being a purely mechanical camera we strongly advise you to exercise the camera as much as possible to ensure the lubricants do not dry out. Keep it in a cool, dry place. Pick it up every few weeks (if not actively using) to check the advance, shutter speeds and that you are getting a full rotation without any glitches. Please be aware that even with regular service and usage some models will still exhibit banding and Bob is doing his best to limit the effects as much as possible. All work is done in the best of faith to keep these cameras going in good working order.
